    Following Stuttgart’s rich history in fabricating lightweight structures, this tour will include a visit to Frei Otto’s former Institute for Lightweight Structures and Conceptual Design (ILEK) housed in a famous tent structure that served as the prototype for the German Pavilion at the Montreal Expo 1967, as well as a bus trip to the Multihalle in Mannheim, Otto’s ground-breaking wood grid shell.

    Meals are not included. Students will need to show their student ID at the beginning of the tour.

    Tour Cancellation Policy: Tickets are on sale until 12 March 2017. If less than 20 persons register, the organiser reserves the right to cancel the tour. In this case, ticket buyers will be informed asap and will receive a full ticket refund.

    Ticket Cancellation Policy: For any cancellations until 12 March 2017 you will receive a ticket refund, minus a 20% admin fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations made after this date. However, if you can no longer make it to the tour, we kindly ask you to let us know so we can update our attendees lists.
